Your client marketplace: picks, requests and vendors
When a client pays through a flow with a Marketplace access step, they get their own app: a marketplace of sublease-approved properties in your brand's colours and fonts. You decide what it shows, and you can hand-pick properties for each client with a note on why.
How a client gets access
- Your flow has a Payment step followed by a Marketplace access step.
- The client pays into your Stripe.
- Their access opens and they're emailed a one-click sign-in link from your address. (Your email must be connected — see Connect your own email.)
Decide what clients see by default
Open Studio → Marketplace. Under What your clients see, switch each part on or off:
- Properties — show properties at all. Turn off for a vendors-only marketplace.
- Zi-Find listings — show approved properties from across Zi-Find, not only your own listings.
- Send me a link — clients can send you a listing they found.
- Vendors — clients browse your vendors (with their contact details) and others they can ask you about.
- Co-hosts — clients browse co-hosts and ask you for an intro.
The page shows Your client's page, live so you can see the result. Only live listings reach your clients. To add your own, go to My Listings or List a property.
Live feed or your picks
Each client is in one of two modes:
- Live feed — until you pick for them, they see the full feed, kept up to date on every visit.
- Your picks — once you pick properties for a client, they see only your picks, each with your note.
To pick for a client:
- In Studio → Marketplace, under Your clients, choose the client.
- In Pick from, search a city or address and click Add on a property.
- Add one sentence on why — your client reads it on the card.
- Save. The page confirms "your client sees this list now."
If a picked property gets leased or comes off the market, mark it Leased or No longer available with a note. It stays on their list with your explanation instead of silently disappearing.
Picking properties for a client moves their card on your Placements board to Candidates sent, and they get your "Properties picked for them" email.
Per-client add-ons and requests
Under each client you can switch the same parts on or off just for them (for example, no properties for a co-host client). When a client sends a link or asks for an intro, it lands under Requests for that client, and you get a notification. Mark it in progress and reply — your client sees your reply word for word. Requests come to you, not Zi-Find.
Your own vendors
At the bottom of the Marketplace tab, Your vendors is your own directory of service pros — cleaners, furniture assembly, photographers.
- Add by hand: enter the business name, a one-line description, services and cities.
- Let them pay to be listed: use the Vendor listing flow template. A vendor fills in their details, pays you monthly through your Stripe, and is listed for your clients as soon as the payment goes through.
Your own vendors show first to your clients, with contact details. Vendors from the wider Zi-Find network are shown as intro requests.
Good to know
- Clients sign in to your marketplace with the one-click link emailed when they pay.
- Your marketplace shows properties; any lease is between the operator and the landlord. Zi-Find is not a party to it.
