Why your listing is not showing on the marketplace
A listing appears on the marketplace only when its status is Active (owners see this as Live on marketplace). If yours is not showing, open your listings page and read the status label on it. That label tells you exactly what is holding it back.
Find your listing's status
- Finders: click My Listings in the sidebar.
- Realtors: click My Listings in the sidebar.
- Owners: click My Properties in the sidebar.
What each status means
Draft
The listing was started but never published. Open it, fill in what is missing, and publish. If the card says "Add photos and a rent to finish this listing", those are the missing pieces.
Pending review, or In review
Owner listings are checked by the Zi-Find team before they go live, so operators only see properties with real sublease approval. Nothing is needed from you unless we ask. Listings posted by finders and realtors normally go live straight away, except when a finder lists a property as owner-direct, which also goes through review.
Changes requested
The team needs something fixed before the listing can go live, often clearer proof of the written approval. Open the listing, make the change, and save.
Withdrawn
The listing was taken down. There are two common reasons:
- You removed it. For owners and realtors, removing a listing that already has an operator conversation takes it down rather than deleting it, so the conversation stays intact.
- It was paused for no answer. Every two weeks we email you to ask whether each listing is still available. If two checks in a row go unanswered (about four weeks), the listing is paused and we email you a link to put it back.
To bring it back, use the link in the email we sent when it was paused. Owners and realtors can also open the listing's edit page and click Put it back up. Relisting restarts the availability clock.
Transferred
For lease transfers, the lease has been handed over. The listing no longer appears.
Over your plan's listing limit
Each finder and realtor plan allows a certain number of active listings:
- Free: 1 active listing
- Finder Pro: up to 7 active listings
- Finder Pro+: unlimited
If you are at your limit, a new listing cannot be published until you remove one or upgrade. Your listing count is shown on Account, under Billing. Property owners list for free.
It is Active but I still cannot see it
- The marketplace is for operators. Browsing the marketplace needs an operator plan, so you may not see it from a finder or owner account. Owners and realtors can use Preview listing on the listing's edit page to see it exactly as an operator does.
- Filters. If you are browsing as an operator, check that your city, price and listing-type filters include it.
- Timing. A newly published listing can take a moment to appear. Refresh the page.
Good to know
- Answering the "still available?" emails keeps your listings live and tells operators they are current. You can switch these checks off under Account, then Notifications, then Is it still available?, but then nothing pauses a listing that has gone, so remove it yourself.
- For owners and realtors, the address on a listing is read-only when editing. If it is wrong, remove the listing and list it again.
