The "still available?" check on your listings
About every two weeks, Zi-Find emails you to ask whether each of your active listings is still available. One click confirms it and keeps it live. If a listing is gone, the same page pauses it. If you don't answer two check-ins in a row, the listing is paused for you — and you can relist it any time.
Why we ask
Operators only want to spend time on properties that are genuinely open. Re-confirming every active listing on a regular cycle keeps the marketplace current, and it means operators reach out on your listings with more confidence.
Answering a check
- Open the email titled Still available? Confirm your Zi-Find listing. If several of your listings are due at once, they come together in one email.
- Press Review your listing (or Review your listings). This opens a page showing each listing with its photo, address and rent.
- For each listing, press one of:
- Confirm availability — it stays live, and the page shows when the next check is due.
- No longer available — it is paused straight away and hidden from operators.
Opening the email or the page changes nothing on its own. Only pressing a button does, so mail scanners and link previews can never confirm or pause a listing by accident.
If you don't answer
After two unanswered check-ins in a row, the listing is paused and you get an email titled We've paused your Zi-Find listing — one click to relist. It is not deleted. If the property is still available, press Relist this property in that email and it goes straight back on the marketplace.
Relisting
A paused listing shows Relist this property on the availability page. You can also sign in, open the listing in My Listings, and press Put it back up. Either way it goes back live with a fresh clock, so you are not asked about it again right away.
You don't have to wait for a check to take a listing down. Open it in My Listings, press Edit or remove, then Remove listing. See Editing, previewing, removing and relisting your listings.
Turning the checks off
The checks are on by default. To change that, open Account, find your notification settings, and switch off Is it still available?. Turning it off also takes your listings out of the cycle entirely, so they are never paused for not answering. We recommend leaving it on — operators lose trust in listings that turn out to be gone.
Good to know
- Only active listings are checked. Drafts, listings in review and paused listings are not.
- A listing you relist or confirm starts a new two-week cycle from that moment.
- Pausing never deletes photos, details or conversations.
- Not getting the emails? See Not receiving emails, or sign in and use the chat bubble in the bottom corner.
I clicked the link and nothing happened. Did it work?
The link only opens the review page. Make sure you pressed Confirm availability or No longer available on that page; the listing then shows Confirmed or Paused.
