Editing, previewing, removing and relisting your listings

3 min read · Updated 2026-10-19

Everything you have listed lives in My Listings. Click a listing to see it, then press Edit or remove to change the details, the rent or the photos, preview it as an operator sees it, or take it off the marketplace. A taken-down listing can be put back up at any time.

Listing statuses

  • Draft — saved but not published. Operators cannot see it.
  • Pending review — waiting for a quick check. This applies to owner-direct listings; your finder listings publish straight away.
  • Active — live on the marketplace.
  • Changes requested — the Zi-Find team asked for a fix. The note is shown at the top of the listing as an Admin note.
  • Withdrawn — taken down. Operators cannot see it; nothing is deleted.

A Needs a photo tag means the listing has no photos yet.

Edit a listing

  1. Open My Listings and click the listing.
  2. Press Edit or remove.
  3. Change what you need: city, ZIP, bedrooms, bathrooms, square feet, Monthly rent ($), the Live listing link, the Description, and on lease transfers the Transfer fee ($).
  4. Press Save changes. For a draft, you can Save draft or publish it from the same page.

The street address is shown but can't be changed. It's how Zi-Find keeps two listings off the same property. If the address is wrong, remove the listing and list the property again at the right address. A listing's type can't be changed after it is posted either; remove it and list it again as the right type.

Preview your listing

When a listing is live, press Preview on the listing page, or Preview listing at the top of the edit page. It opens the listing exactly as operators see it.

Add, remove and reorder photos

On the edit page, the photo section lets you upload new photos, remove one, and drag to reorder. The first photo is your cover — it is what operators see in search results. Your new order is saved when you press Save changes.

If your listing is missing photos or rent, the listing page shows a Finish your listing card listing what to add. Press Email me this checklist to get it in your inbox.

Remove a listing

At the bottom of the edit page, press Remove listing. Before anything happens, Zi-Find tells you what removing will do, and it depends on whether anyone has asked about the property:

  • Nobody has enquired: the listing and its photos are deleted for good. The button reads Delete it.
  • An operator has messaged you about it: the listing is taken down instead. It leaves the marketplace right away, but your conversation keeps its history. The button reads Take it down.

A listing that is part of a completed deal stays on the record and can't be removed from this page. Use Help or the chat bubble if something about it is wrong.

You can also take a listing down from the "still available?" email: press No longer available next to it. See The "still available?" check.

Put a listing back up

A taken-down listing shows Put it back up on its listing page and This listing is taken down on its edit page. Press Put it back up and it goes back on the marketplace with all its details and photos, and a fresh availability clock so it is not asked about again right away. You can also press Relist this property on the availability page.

Good to know

  • Taking a listing down never deletes anything. Your photos, details and conversations stay put.
  • A taken-down listing can't be edited until you put it back up.
  • If you are on Finder Pro, listings that are posted, drafted or in review count toward your limit of 7. Taking one down frees a slot.
  • The Amplification tab on My Listings shows where your listings are being promoted. On Finder Pro+ you choose the channels.

Does taking a listing down tell operators anything?

No message goes out. The listing simply stops appearing on the marketplace until you put it back up.
