Managing your operator subscription: upgrade, switch to annual, pause or cancel
Everything about your plan lives under Account, then the Billing tab: your current plan and status, your next billing date, your remaining searches, your payment method and your invoices.
See your plan
- Click Account in the sidebar.
- Open the Billing tab.
You will see your plan and its status (Active, Past due, or Canceled), your Next billing date, when your search allowance resets, your payment method, and your recent billing history.
Upgrade from Pro Host to Elite Host
Click any Upgrade to Elite Host button in the app. They appear wherever an Elite feature would help, such as when your searches run out, on the owner card, on Check an address, and on the Run the numbers card of a submitted property. You can also click Change plan on the Billing tab.
The upgrade changes the plan you already have:
- It takes effect immediately.
- The price difference is charged right away.
- You are never billed for two plans at once.
If your card is declined during an upgrade, nothing changes and you stay on your current plan.
Switch to annual billing
On the Billing tab (and sometimes on your dashboard) you may see "Save" an amount "by switching to annual". Click Switch to annual, review the amount we will charge today and your new renewal date, tick the confirmation, and click Confirm switch to annual.
- Pro Host annual is $997 a year.
- Elite Host annual is $1,970 a year, which is ten months' price. It also removes the daily limit on revenue estimates.
You can also move from Elite Host monthly to Elite Host annual with the Move to Elite Host annual button. Annual plans renew yearly.
Update your card
If a payment fails, the Billing tab shows "Your last payment failed" with an Update payment method link. See Updating your payment method.
Pause or cancel
On the Billing tab, click Cancel subscription. Before you go, we ask why you are leaving and may offer an option that fits, such as pausing or a discount. You can also click Pause subscription instead? to take a break without losing your account.
When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and the Billing tab says "Your plan will end on" that date. Changed your mind? Click Undo before that date. There is no cancellation fee. See Cancellation.
Moving to a smaller plan
You can move down yourself. Open Change to a lower plan at the bottom of the Billing tab. You'll see what you give up, tell us why, then tick that you understand and type the new plan's name to confirm. What is offered depends on your plan:
- Elite Host annual can move to Elite Host monthly, Pro Host annual or Pro Host monthly.
- Elite Host monthly can move to Pro Host monthly.
- Pro Host annual can move to Pro Host monthly.
The change happens at the end of the period you have already paid for. Until then you keep your current plan and everything in it, and nothing is charged or refunded today. Before you confirm, the page lists what you give up, such as a lower monthly search allowance or losing Elite go/no-go reads and underwriting.
Once it is scheduled, a banner on the Billing tab says when your plan changes. Click Keep my current plan to cancel the change before that date.
Good to know
- Your subscription is the only thing you pay Zi-Find. We take no cut of your rent or your deals.
- If your access comes through a coach or partner program, the Billing tab says your subscription is managed by that agreement. Talk to your program for changes.
Will upgrading reset my searches?
Your new allowance applies straight away, and the Submissions page shows what you have left this month.
