Tracking a submission: statuses, the activity timeline and the owner card
Every property you send to Zi-Find gets its own page with a timeline of everything that has happened on it: who was contacted, what the owner said, and where it stands. Open Submissions, then View submissions, and click any property.
Your submissions list
The View submissions tab lists every property you sent, newest first. Each row shows:
- the address and city
- a status pill
- a progress chip such as Finding it, Someone's on it, Verifying, or Confirmed
- the date you submitted it, and the date of the latest real update when there is one
Filter the list by status, and page through with Prev and Next.
What the progress chips mean
- Finding it: your property is with the finder network, waiting for someone to pick it up.
- Someone's on it: a finder has picked it up and is working the owner.
- Verifying: Zi-Find is checking the approval.
- Confirmed: the approval has been confirmed.
- Cancelled: the search was closed.
A finder can also mark a property Approved, Rejected, or back in progress, and that mark shows on your status pill.
The property page
Click a property to see:
- Activity: the timeline of everything that has happened, for example "Picked up by the Zi-Find network", "Owner contacted", "Awaiting owner reply", "Owner responded", "Negotiating terms", "Approved in writing", or "No path here". Work done by finders is shown as "the Zi-Find network"; individual finders are not named.
- Details: the property link, lead tier and score, days on market, when you submitted it and when it was last updated.
- Owner: the owner card (see below).
- Run the numbers: for Elite Host members, a shortcut to the revenue estimate and go/no-go check on this address.
- Notes: notes kept on this property.
If a submission could not be accepted, the page says "This submission was auto-rejected" with the reason, and confirms when the search has been given back to your allowance.
When do I get the owner's contact details?
The owner card reads "We're working the owner" until the property is approved in writing. Once it is, the owner's name, phone and email appear on the card when we have them. If the property is approved but the contact details are still being verified, the card says "Owner contact pending". Holding the details back until approval keeps the network's outreach intact while it is still in progress.
When a property comes back approved
You may see a banner at the top of Submissions saying one of your properties came back approved. Click Book a call and we will confirm which property it is, introduce you to the landlord, and share the approval evidence. Sometimes the banner says you are "at 1 of" a minimum number of properties; adding more submissions unlocks it.
Get told as things happen
We notify you when an owner responds and when a property is approved in writing, by bell and by email (at most once a day per property). Routine steps show on the page without an email. Change these under Account then Notifications: Updates on properties I submitted and Activity on my submissions.
Good to know
- Entries on the timeline are a record. They are never edited or deleted; a correction is added as a new entry.
- Add your mobile in Account so we can text you the moment something confirms. Approved properties move fast.
- "Approved in writing" is the owner's permission to sublease. Read the document yourself and check local rules before you sign.
My submission still says Finding it. Is anyone working on it?
It means no finder has picked it up yet. Elite Host searches are worked first. You can also tell us more about what you want under Tell us what you're looking for.
